ESS 2.0 not hiding SMS

ESS 2.0 not hiding SMS I have ESS 2.0 installed on a Verizon VX6800 (TITA100) running WM6.
I've installed, registered and configured a contact under secret contacts. when this contact sends a message it displays normally and is not displayed in ESS.

I've tried The following:
1) uninstalling and reinstalling the app in both Storage Card and Device (currently installed on device).
2) Restarat the device, turn monitoring off then on again.
3) Re-entering my device code.
4) enabling and disabling the Today Screen Plugin

Is there something I'm missing, because i cant seem to get this app to run properly.

Did you definitely set up the secret contact list AND set up the settings for each contact?
